While the Beninese were looking forward to the major trends of the Commission Electorale Nationale Autonome ( CENA), the candidate Lionel Zinsou, who arrived 1st at the first round of Benin’s presidential election, recognized his defeat on this March 21st, 2016, the day after the run-off vote.
It is earlier this morning at 3:43 am in a publication on his page Facebook.
He announced to have called his challenger Patrice Talon to congratulate him on his victory and wish him “good luck”. Lionel Zinsou so confirms the first figures shared via internet and the social media conferring Patrice Talon‘s considerable advance in the run-off vote.

The candidate, carried by the Alliance Fcbe-Prd-Rb explained that he will express himself to the press to thank his voters after the announcement of the officials trends by CENA planned for this evening.
